Slushbox Chewbacca from MN

Postby F1Wookie » Tue Dec 10, 2013 9:30 pm

Hey guys, I'm Hunter from MN have had a profile for a little bit of time but not a huge Forum guy. From the facebook group you all seem abit more adult acting then most Euro forums so I will also present my self that way here. I drive a United Grey MKV R32 that I dearly love and that I purchased earlier this year to replace the MKV GTI I owned. I am 22 and self proclaimed shipping Jesus at my work. I'm a big VR nut :-b who wants to learn more and more. I have high hopes and big plans for my Wookie this year. I will post up a recent picture from before the snow fell lower in my thread. Questions are welcome along with constructive critisim. and most of all HI from MN the land of 10,000 lakes. :-BD I apologize if the image is massive, I took the picture with a brand new Sony A65 with stock lens.

Oh yeah Lenny knows I have the best of intentions, I do plan on putting an HX52 and a complete over haul on the 3.2 as it is the engine platform I have obsesed over for years and years now. I just can't seem to find the proper Chassis I want it to be in. The MKV is great but I'm afraid of all the extreme work that no one has done yet with that sized turbo and the DSG. The local and internet famous Mike Olson is a friend and has built the Turbo'd MKV R32 that he currently owns and purchased from a client of their shop. we have chatted and for the work I need to do it shouldn't cost less than about 7k all said and done. So I have semi scratched the initial plan and I am in search of a good RWD chassis I can put it in with a T5 tranny bolted up to a 3.2 VR with and adapted bell housing. MY grass roots are in the 12v's!!!! Multiple cam installs and built heads, too many custom exhausts and etc. Never swapped one in a MK2 tho that would be a pretty quick car if built right and you lightened the chassis. If you can't tell im a Speed Nut as well.

That sounds like it will be sickeningly awesome. My good buddy Cody (Yodman) has a boost prepped VR6 Mk2 Jetta Coupe in Magma Orange. Who knows when he will ever get around to boosting it though, haha.
